Spandau Ballet
With the single "Gold", the British band achieved high chart positions across Europe in 1983 and secured their place in international 1980s pop. Originally emerging from London’s New Wave and synthpop scene, they developed into one of the best-known representatives of the so-called New Romantic style from the early 1980s onwards. Several albums reached the UK Top 10.
