Snap!
With “Rhythm is a dancer”, the project reached international chart success in 1992 and helped shape the Eurodance wave of the early 1990s. The German duo, centred around Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti, produced a series of club hits that are still featured in DJ sets and playlists today. The releases appeared mainly on the Logic Records label.
Snap! – Background & Discography
Snap! was founded in the late 1980s and is best known for hits such as “The Power” (1990) and “Rhythm is a dancer” (1992). Their sound combines electronic beats with catchy hooks and rap sections, which played a significant role in popularising Eurodance. Alongside the single hits, the debut album “World Power” was released in 1990 and charted internationally. Even after their initial success, Snap! remained a fixture in the dance scene through changing line-ups and various releases.
