Manfred Mann's Earth Band – Sound & Production Style
Characteristic of Manfred Mann's Earth Band are the use of synthesisers, striking guitar riffs and the alternation between rock-driven and atmospheric, progressive passages. The band often worked with producer Manfred Mann himself, released their albums on labels including Bronze Records, and placed emphasis on complex arrangements. Musically, they move between progressive rock, classic rock and pop elements, with cover versions being a central stylistic feature in their repertoire.
