With “Moviestar”, the Swedish singer achieved high chart positions across Europe in 1975 and became widely known, especially in Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. Since the mid-1970s, he has regularly appeared in the international charts with English-language pop singles. The catchy melodies and distinctive vocals shaped several releases into the 1980s.
