Eros Ramazzotti
Rare Italian 7-inch and 12-inch pressings from the 1980s are among the most sought-after formats for Eros Ramazzotti collectors. Several singles were released at the time in different country editions, often with varying cover artwork and label details. Early promo pressings in particular are not commonly found on the German-speaking market.
Eros Ramazzotti collector’s items & pressings
For collectors, the focus with Eros Ramazzotti is especially on the different pressings of his singles and maxis. In addition to the regular releases, there are numerous country-specific variants, including German promo editions and maxi-singles with rare tracks or alternative mixes. Releases from the 1980s are often specifically sought by catalogue number, label and cover version. Language versions are almost exclusively Italian, with occasional translations for the international market.
Eros Ramazzotti rarities – what collectors should know
A German promo pressing such as Musica e' 7" Single GERMANY PROMO (7'' Vinyl) is particularly relevant as a collector’s item, as such editions were usually distributed in small quantities to media and DJs. The maxi Canzoni lontane 12" Vinyl Maxi (12'' Vinyl Maxi) offers collectors a rarer vinyl variant, while the early single Dolce Barbara (7'' Vinyl) is of interest especially to completists.
These special pressings are a targeted way to fill gaps in existing collections.
