Cosa Rosa
With the single “In meinen Armen”, Cosa Rosa had a radio hit in the mid-1980s that introduced this German-language pop project to a wider audience. The group, centred around singer Rosemarie Precht and keyboardist Reinhold Heil, released most of their music between 1983 and 1986. The use of electronic instruments was characteristic, placing Cosa Rosa within the context of the German synthpop and NDW scene.
Cosa Rosa – Background & Discography
The band released their albums and singles on CBS and became known especially for the tracks “In meinen Armen” and “Riesenrad”. Stylistically, Cosa Rosa moved between synthpop, pop, and the later phase of Neue Deutsche Welle, with many productions shaped by Reinhold Heil, who had previously been active with Spliff. The band’s releases remain part of many NDW and German pop collections, as they reflect the electronic sound of the era.
