Bananarama – Background & Discography
Bananarama shaped the pop sound of the 1980s with a series of Top 10 singles and albums released on labels such as London Records. The group originally consisted of Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward. Their repertoire includes dance-pop, new wave and Hi-NRG. Alongside their international chart success, Bananarama remain active as a live act and are regularly booked for compilations and retro events. The striking productions, often in collaboration with Stock Aitken Waterman, also made the band relevant for later generations.
